When your starting point is refusal to accept that there are certain inescapable truths that dictate how the world is structured, you quickly find for every new idea that contributes to how you now construct your world view you create an ever more unstable belief system because there is no foundation for your claims. If your goal is progress, you must improve upon what already exists and more importantly identify what currently works; and for that you must have a TRUE and HONEST understanding of how things ARE not how you wish them to be.
